Privacy Policy

HeyCoach is a product of Massively Parallel Thoughts, LLC ("we", "us"). HeyCoach is a nutrition-coaching service delivered through WhatsApp. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it, in plain language.

What we collect

Your WhatsApp phone number and profile name — this is how your account is identified. We never see your WhatsApp password or your other chats.
What you send the coach: messages, food photos, voice notes, and documents you choose to share (such as lab results), plus the profile details you provide during setup (age, height, weight, activity, goals).
Derived coaching data: your meal log, calorie/macro estimates, weight entries, the coach's notes about your preferences and goals, and daily summaries.
Payment data: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

Solely to provide the service: estimating your meals, tracking your progress, and personalizing the coaching. Photos, voice notes and documents are processed by AI providers (Google Gemini for analysis, Cloudflare Workers AI for voice transcription) as data processors on our behalf. Messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta). We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Health information

If you share lab results or health goals, we store them to tailor your nutrition coaching. HeyCoach is not a medical service, does not diagnose or treat anything, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Share only what you are comfortable sharing — the coach works fine without it.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in your own isolated record on Cloudflare's infrastructure, keyed to your phone number. Conversation transcripts are kept for 7 days for context; your meal log, profile and coach notes are kept while your account is active.

Your controls

Message "memories" to see what the coach remembers, and "forget" to remove any of it.
Email hi@heycoach.chat to request a copy of your data or full deletion — we complete deletions within 30 days.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of everything HeyCoach holds about you at any time:

Email hi@heycoach.chat with the subject "Delete my data" and include the WhatsApp phone number you use with HeyCoach (so we can locate your record).
We will confirm the request by messaging that WhatsApp number, then permanently delete your profile, meal log, weight entries, photos, voice notes, lab documents, coach notes and conversation history within 30 days.
You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Two things survive deletion: payment records kept by Stripe that we are legally required to retain for tax and accounting purposes, and nothing else. Deleting your data closes your account; you can always start fresh later by messaging the coach again. You can also remove individual coach notes at any time without deleting your account — message "forget" in the chat.
